3 more hours and I take my first step on the Camino Frances out of St Jean Pied de Port, France. Tomorrow I will be in Spain 😁 Church bells are signaling 7:00 am and half of the inn’s patrons have already left.
It was 0 degrees and raining last night, and this morning is chilly but no rain yet. I hear the birds singing and dogs barking. My breakfast is waiting for me so time to get moving. Hard to leave this warm bed.
Chores this morning consist of last minute bag prep, a visit to express Bouricott to send my wheelie duffel ahead 800 km to Santiago de Compostela and climb a frickin mountain.
Mood: Exhilerated!
