Got the Travel Bug?

Like many, I have struggled with the lack of opportunity to travel during this pandemic. I can only dream of the day when we will be able to board a flight and fly off to someplace exotic.

Who says we can’t travel? (If only in our heads and hearts.)

Ways to feed that travel bug during the pandemic:

  1. Attend a virtual tour – learning about other cultures and customs has always been interesting to me. Here is one provider that satisfies the intellectually curious. Context Travel
  2. Read a book about a location you dream of traveling to
  3. Start learning the language of your destination
  4. Research your next trip.
  5. Google maps allow you to drop a pin in the map and walk around
  6. Cook a dish from a country you want to visit

Why not start dreaming and planning for that next trip. Where do you want to go?

I would love to hear how you are coping with your travel bug. Drop a note in the comments below.

  2. Great suggestions Donna, what time to start retirement and maternity leave eh :s I’d also suggest start researching places you want to travel so when things go back to normal you’re ready to go. Or use this time to explore Ontario (once lockdown is lifted) and explore local trails and towns.

    • You got that right Prity! Great to hear from you. How are you and the little one? I like your idea and have such a list of places I want to visit. First trip will be out to Alberta to hug my youngest son who I haven’t seen since August 2019. Need one of his huge hugs! lol What is awesome, is that I don’t have to hurry back or cut trips short now. Soon baby, soon! Stay well my dear and congratulations again!
